A newly formed team and initiative from Halifax Panthers. As a fully inclusive club the Learning and physical disability teams have been welcomed into the Panther family.

The LDRL and PDRL teams aim to provide all those in our community with learning disabilities or physical disabilities the chance to be part of a professional rugby league side.

The team provides the players with new opportunities, friendships, and a chance to have fun, whilst playing the sport they love!

At each session, participants partake rugby skills, team games and physical exercises, promoting their health and wellbeing. It is also a fantastic opportunity for the participants and their carers to socialise and make new friends within the sessions as well as development fundamental rugby league skills.

Head coach Craig Serbert-Smith has a long history with mixed ability rugby league and is positive the teams will be a force to be reckoned with in disability rugby league.
